Nima Earrings

$120.00 AUD

Unique handmade earrings, created from hand beaten copper in my studio on the outskirts of Brisbane, these pieces reflect the enigmatic layers that enfold our life stories and the strength forged though those experiences we never imaged, but shape our lives so intrinsically.

As a young woman, I volunteered for a year with a not for profit community development organisation in Papua New Guinea. These pieces are named after an even younger Chimbu woman who held space for me at a pivotal time in my early years.

WIth the sublime patina of naturally aged copper, these pieces are able to be polished to a high shine metallic finish or left to develop organic natural tones. As these are handmade, each pair will have slight variations.

A pure metal found in nature, copper has long been associated with energy, health and healing, highly desired not only for its beauty but its intrinsic properties of connection and conductivity. Copper is also one of the seven metals in ancient alchemy traditionally associated with Venus, love and fertility.

They have a 5 year workmanship guarantee - I want you to love these as much as I do. Designed and created by Australian artist Tanja Stark.
Copper pieces are approx 50mm with hypoallergenic stainless steel hooks.
